A blog is an abbreviation of "web log" and originally they started out as a sort of online diary. Nowadays they are used for much more and many businesses use them to communicate with their customers.

You will use blogs for many purposes while at ITeC while at ITeC

• The main ITeC Blog - where memos and information about the course are held, the training calendar is dislayed and your exam results are posted.
• The Learning Reflections Blog where you will write about what you're learning and how it's going as part of your Improve Own Learning Key Skill.

Later in the course you will probably also create a blog of your own as part of your ICT Essential Skills project.
