Exam Revision Techniques
Hi,
When revising for the Software Testing exam I have found the following techniques most useful:
- Before starting a new section complete a pre-test to get an idea of your starting point. (see screen shot)
- Work methodically through each section - completing it before moving onto the next section.
- Complete the knowledge tests as you progress through the sections. You need to aim for scores of around 70-80%. Check the certification passmark for a better understanding of what is required - e.g. Java Programmer 1 needs a passmark of 77%.
- Revisit previous sections on a regular basis to check you have maintained your knowledge whilst learning new concepts.
- From your test results you should be able to identify weaker areas for extra revision. (see screen shot)
