Taking and intepreting data from a "word problem" or piece of text and turning that into an actual caluation is often tricker than the maths itself. This course will give guidance on some tactics to help, as well as act as revision for various maths skills.
Introduction to using decimals and comparison with fractions and percentage
An introduction to using fractions starting from the very basics and working through to the Adult Numeracy Exams standards. Materials will range from Entry 2 to Level 2.
