Work-Based Learning is based upon the premise that learning does not only take place in the classroom. People working in commercial, public sector and voluntary organisations spend a large part of their lives in a potentially rich learning environment. Work-Based Learning has many benefits for both the employer and the trainee. AssessmentAssessment can take place at the student's place of work and training involves a combination of both attendance at Swansea ITeC and on-the-job assessment. The training and assessment procedures are flexible and lead to recognised qualifications such as NVQs (ITQs). Employer Benefits
