Work
Based Learning |
|
Work-Based Learning is based upon the premise
that learning does not only take place in the classroom.
People working in commercial, public sector
and voluntary organisations spend a large part of their lives
in a potentially rich learning environment.
Work Based Learning has many benefits for
both the employer and the trainee.
Assessment
Assessment can take place at the student's
place of work and training involves a combination of both attendance
at Swansea ITeC and on-the-job assessment.
The training and assessment procedures
are flexible and lead to recognised qualifications such as
NVQs (ITQs).
