You can physically see or touch most products you buy, so it’s very easy to know exactly what you’re getting for your money. It’s not quite so easy to see the immediate benefits of your investment when it comes to Modern Apprenticeships.

The obvious issue of improved skills and thus productivity are the simplest to identify but there are more subtle advantages to be gained as well. Effective staff training can improve motivation, communication, and morale and so assist management in the process of continuous development.

There is no age limit on who can become a Modern Apprentice and even existing employees are eligible for the scheme – at no cost to your company, other than time.

In addition to the NVQ (ITQ) qualification awarded on the completion of the course, a Modern Apprentice from Swansea ITeC will have the option of attending our commercial training courses in many specialist IT areas, at a much reduced rate.

See our Work Based Learning section for more information on eligibility and benefits.

" All staff stated that the course was informative, the speed of learning was at a pace dictated by them and the environment was conducive to the learning process. "
