The UK Coalition Government's 'Austerity Measures' have resulted in many businesses and savvy employees to re-analyse their needs and employable skill set. As a result we have noticed an increased interest in our web design courses, as businesses cut back on expensive outsourced web design.

Most business people recognise the commercial importance of the Internet, but few realise how easy it is to learn the skills required to produce a basic Web presence.

We currently offer an expanded range of web design courses:

  • Web Design Principles
  • WordPress
  • Joomla!

Web Design Principles

Incorporating Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop (CS3)

 

Learn how to build and design your own website from scratch. Incorporate photos and graphics to create a unique website for personal or business use.

The course will cover the latest valid XHTML and CSS standards, tableless layouts, logo creation and search engine optimisation.

Prerequisites: Student must possess a basic understanding of computer's operating system; for example, knowing how to launch an application, create and save files, and copy files from CDs and other media, or equivalent knowledge.

5 Day course.

Cost: £1560. 55 (plus VAT)

Shorter or extended bespoke web design course also available on request - daily rate £367.00 (plus VAT)

WordPress

Learn how to build a WordPress website, from content and user organization, to working with extensions and basic web marketing. Opportunities to further build on your WordPress knowledge and get to grips with how to modify, improve and develop great WordPress websites, including unique theme/template creation.

Prerequisites: Student must possess a basic understanding of computer's operating system; for example, knowing how to launch an application, create and save files, and copy files from CDs and other media, or equivalent knowledge.  Some knowledge of CSS would be advantageous but is not essential for basic level.

6 day course for all three levels: Basic, Intermediate and Advanced. £1560.55 (plus VAT)

Cost per level @ £625.00 (plus VAT)

Joomla!

Learn how to install and configure Joomla! content management system. This training course covers the installation and configuration of the Joomla! content management system.  This is an extensive course and covers all areas of administrating a Joomla! website from both the front-end and back-end and covers everything regarding the administration and creation of a Joomla! website and template development.

Prerequisites: Student must possess a basic understanding of computer's operating system; for example, knowing how to launch an application, create and save files, and copy files from CDs and other media, or equivalent knowledge.  Some knowledge of CSS would be advantageous but is not essential for basic level.

6 day course for all three levels: Basic, Intermediate and Advanced. £1560.55 (plus VAT)

Cost per level @ £625.00 (plus VAT)
